We left Catavina this morning headed towards Santa Catarina and then on to El Rosario.

The first 30 miles were new trails that we had never ridden before.

My handguard hit a cactus and it exploded

Made to El Rosario and hit Mama Espinoza's for a late lunch

Chad noticed he had a flat tire when we got to the Federale check just past El Rosario. We noticed a truck with an empty bed ahead of us and decided to see if we could make a deal with the guy to haul the bike to Old Mill for us. It was getting late and we felt like we would get into Old Mill after dark if we changed it on the road. We agreed on $30.00. After the check station, he pulled over so we could load the bike. after we got it loaded, one of the Federales came over and talked to the driver of the truck. After that he said that the driver wanted another $70. to haul the bike. I think the Federale wanted a cut and it ended up costin the guy his $30. We unloaded the bike and started fixing the tire.

This is what we saw on the ride into Old Mill

Keith, Charlie and Dave left for San Felipe this morning and the rest of us headed to Catavina.

They ran into rain and fog when heading to the junction.

We decided to bypass the Pacific side of the 22 Day Trail and do the Pacific Run and add in a new trail that we had never done before.

On the way out to the Pacific Ray went down in a rut and put a hole in his clutch cover and broke one of the bolts that hold in his clutch.

After getting Ray patched up we sent him and Buckles back to the highway and up to Catavina. The rest of us headed on to the ocean.

We headed in land from the Pacific using a different route to get to the Todos Santos road and back to Catavina. It was a fun trail with just about everything. Rock, Cactus, Sand, Grass, Whoops, Washes. You name it it had it. The one road I remember that was a fast sandy road was completely washed out due to the recent rains. Heres a link showing a place where the road became a river.
